Q&A is back for the new year and has started off with a bang, tackling topics like climate change and immigration.
One of the guest speakers on last night’s panel was former Liberal MP Julia Banks, who left the party during the leadership spill citing gender bias and a culture of bullying.
A question via Skype from Melburnian Kieran Simpson put Banks under the microscope as he directly asked her to name exactly who was guilty of bullying and misogynistic behaviour so they can be held to account for their behaviour.
Even host Tony Jones asked her to explicitly confirm or deny whether or not she was bullied by Liberal “numbers men” in the early stages of the leadership spill in August 2018, which would indicate Scott Morrison was involved much earlier in the coup than originally thought.
