Aussie high-schooler grills pollies over climate change, becomes instant legend

ABC’s Q&A has a pretty good track record of giving a voice to young people, and this week’s episode was no exception.

Marco Bellemo, who The Sydney Morning Herald reports is just 17 years of age and not yet old enough to vote, got the chance to share his thoughts on the government’s approach to climate change and apparent disregard for future generations.

And boy, did he deliver.

Marco’s condemnation of the government comes after primary and secondary students from across the nation went on strike last Friday to protest Australia’s objectively lacklustre climate change policy.
