To celebrate the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story for digital download, Lucasfilm has revealed previously unseen footage of Han Solo flying an Imperial TIE fighter. Hell yeah!

Aside from the sparkly HD and 4k Ultra HD release, a new set of juicy bonus features will also be available for download. These include a roundtable discussion with the cast and crew, extensive behind the scenes featurettes focusing on the making of the Millennium Falcon, plus eight extended or deleted scenes.

Those never before scenes include an extended appearance of Darth Maul and deleted footage showing Han Solo flying an iconic TIE fighter in his time as a cadet for the Empire.

Other bonus goodies include:

Team Chewie: a special featurette walking the audience through the process to bring the galaxy’s favourite Wookiee once more to the big screen.

Kasdan on Kasdan: Empire Strikes back legendary scribe Lawrence Kasdan and his son Jonathan share a glimpse behind the film’s screenplay and talk about the experience of working together.

Escape from Corellia: The wizards of Industrial Light & Magic unveil all the tricks they used to create the thrilling chase scene through the streets of Corellia.

The Train Heist: Again, the folks from Industrial Light & Magic walk the audience through the process of creating the high-octane sequence, one of the most memorable of the film.

Becoming a Droid: How did they create L3-37, the newest droid in the Star Wars Universe?

Scoundrels, Droids, Creatures and Cards: Welcome to Fort Ypso: A walkthrough through one of the seediest bars in the galaxy.

Solo: A Star Wars Story will be available for digital download on all platforms on September 14th, and on Blu-Ray on September 25th.
