These weird-looking glasses aim to cure your motion sickness in 10 minutes flat

What’s worse than a road trip with the family? Getting motion sickness while on a road trip with the family.

But fear not, these weird-looking glasses might take away half of that family road trip pain.

The SEETROËN glasses have been designed by Paris design studio 5.5, in collaboration with auto manufacturer Citroën.

Designed to do away with motion sickness, these “minions”-esque glasses use Boarding Ring technology to recreate the horizon line and to “resynchronize with the movement perceived by the inner ear”.

The patented glasses hold liquid that can easily recreate that horizon line and then resync your brain so motion sickness is eliminated.

Citroën claims an efficacy rating of 95% with the glasses working within 10-12 minutes.

The beauty of this motion sickness solution is that you won’t be stuck wearing these god-awful glasses for the entire roadtrip. Once you focus on a still object (such as a book or your phone) and your system has been (for lack of a better word) re-calibrated, you are then able to take them off and enjoy the rest of your journey motion sickness-free.

There’s no scientific evidence that the glasses work on everyone (the site even mentions this), so you might want to do your research before shelling out €99 (AU$155) on a pair.
