Paramedics in the UK were stunned recently after they returned to their ambulance only to find a note on their windscreen that left them dumbfounded.
After parking their vehicle outside a residential house to assist a patient who was in a critical condition and vomiting blood, the crew were shocked to find a note on the windscreen of the ambulance telling them they should park somewhere else.
The note said, “You may be saving lives, but don’t park your van in a stupid place and block my drive.”
The crew was on the scene in Small Heath, Birmingham for only 30 minutes before taking the man to the hospital.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust said that “patients come first”.
He told Mirror Online: “Sometimes we just don’t know quite what to say.”
“At the time, the crew were helping a man who was extremely unwell after vomiting a lot of blood.
“They assessed his condition and immediately took him on blue lights to hospital where he was in a critical condition.
“Our staff will always try and park considerately, but sometimes, there just isn’t time. Sorry, patients come first.”
