This guy is no criminal mastermind.
A festival goer in Queensland is suffering the consequences after he decided it would be a good idea to write his contact details on his bag of MDMA.
From an early age, we are taught to label our valuable items, and he should be praised for his extreme attention to this rule.
But if there are exceptions, this is one of them.
According to this police report, a 21-year old Dalby man was detained after getting the attention of a sniffer dog.
When the police searched the man, they found a bag of MDMA in a Coles ziplock bag with the man’s name and mobile phone number on it.
“[name]’s Mdma if found call [number]”, the bag read. Case closed. No need to bring in Sherlock for this one.
Police say this information made their job easier recently when found at a Maroochydore music festival earlier this month. ? pic.twitter.com/xYFijdQaQI

The man was attending last month’s Maroochydore Music and Visual Arts (MMVAF) Festival.
ABC News reports that more 6,300 people went to MMVAF and 52 were charged with drug-related offences.
At the end of this month, the man will be attending a quite different venue – the Maroochydore Magistrates Court.
Do we need to remind him to leave his labeled bag of weed at home?
