They exist! A top-shelf watch you can actually afford and won’t smash into a thousand tiny pieces

I’ve never really been a big watch guy.

I’ve wanted to be, but I’ve always found:

A) I’d have to sell my body in some of Sydney’s seedy back alleys to afford one

and

B) I’m the sort of guy that would accidentally smash or break it while tripping up stairs or something dumb like that.

So I’ve always been too scared to take the leap.

Which is why I was pretty stoked to have a crack at these Mountain Active Co watches.

Retailing between $189 and $249 they’re well within the price range for young Aussies, as well as being durable as hell and looking pretty schmick.

And what I really liked the most was it was a 24-hour watch (not like…it accounted for all 24 hours, that’s pretty much industry standard…you know what I mean!).

I could have it on from the moment I woke up, went to work, hit up the gym and then went out at night – tough enough and light enough for exercise, but stylish enough you don’t have to ditch it when you’re hitting the town.

Loving the orange detail.

I also found the solar power panel to be a great bonus, saving you the inevitable, infuriating trip to get the battery replaced.

I guess what I’m trying to say is, I’m a watch guy now.
