How to watch Apple’s 2017 WWDC in Australia

If you’re a diehard Apple fan, you’ll NEED to know when the Worldwide Developer’s Conference begins, and how you can watch every second.

Techly has your back. We’ll be sitting front and centre at WWDC 2017, so make sure to follow us for live updates, insights and early reviews and product info.

Start times

The event will take place at the McEnery Convention Centre in San Jose, California. It kicks off at 10 AM PDT on Monday 5 June 2017, which makes it easy for Americans to watch but a little tricky for Aussies.

Australians can watch on Tuesday 6 June, but the timing depends on which state or territory you call home.

  • Western Australia: 1 AM
  • Northern Territory: 2:30 AM
  • Queensland: 3 AM
  • South Australia: 3:30 AM
  • New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, Tasmania: 4 AM
  • How to stream

Apple makes it pretty simple. WWDC 2017 will be streamed live via this site, and uploaded to Apple’s Youtube channel after the event.

If you’re into countdowns, there’s a sweet countdown which will adjust to your time zone. As I write this, Aussies have 1 day, 9 hours, 24 minutes, and 30 seconds.
