Twitter may be US President Donald Trump’s preferred way to attack his enemies, but recently he has been getting a taste of his own medicine.
Earlier this month, former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders savaged Trump with a single tweet and now the official McDonald’s Twitter account has had a go.
A post on McDonald’s corporate Twitter account caught a lot of attention on Thursday morning for calling Trump “disgusting” and praising Obama. To top it all off, the tweet ended by reminding Trump about his “tiny hands”.
Twitter users were quick to notice the tweet and McDonald’s deleted it within twenty minutes.

More than an hour after the incident, McDonald’s tweeted that its Twitter account had been “compromised”.
Twitter notified us that our account was compromised. We deleted the tweet, secured our account and are now investigating this.

Either that, or this is the ballsiest viral marketing campaign EVER.
Although the post was deleted, thanks to the magic of retweeting and screenshots, the tweet will live on.
Since Maccas and Twitter are two of Trump’s favorite things, this has got to be hurting the big man. And things will never be the same between him and Grimace now. Awkward.
Oh well, I guess he could try switching to KFC and Facebook?
