“Airplane mode. Road trip mode. Stuck-in-the-subway-for-20-minutes mode. Your favourite stories are now available for download any time.”

OMG. (Almost) All of Netflix, all the time.

Netflix has released some absolutely ace news that people have been asking for since…well, since as long as Netflix has been around. You can now download and go with the Netflix app, which is available on iOS and Android, mobiles and tablets.

Aussies should see this pop-up when they open the Netflix app, which will direct you to all the downloadable titles. But there are a tonne of titles which will prompt you to ‘download now to watch offline later’.

Just like Youtube, you get the option to watch in standard definition or HD. That choice is really dependent on who’s wifi you’re using to download the shows.

Ultimately, it’ll change the approach to long-haul flights and boring commutes. Although Netflix users need to leave their ‘Netflix & Chill’ attitudes strictly at home.
