NSFW: Pornhub has launched the first ever free virtual reality channel because the future

Virtual reality porn is now a…reality.

And you better get used to it, because it’s about to transform the way you watch other people bang on a screen.

Pornhub, the 65th biggest most visited website on the Internet, has today launched a free virtual reality (VR) channel on the front page of its site – the first of its kind in the industry.

The page has a bunch of trailers from BaDoinkVR (10/10 for the name), meaning if you have an Oculus Rift or Google Cardboard you can now step into the brave new world of virtual reality porn.

“Now, our users are not only able to view our content, but be protagonists in the experience and interact with their favorite porn stars,” Pornhub VP Corey Price said.

You can even go to a virtual reality strip club called VRClubz in case you just want to look but not touch.

Virtual reality is one of the fastest growing industries in tech at the moment, but most of that growth has been confined to the video game and educational sectors.

VR porn, by comparison is relatively new – but it’s set to take over the world.

For a seemingly outrageous concept, it’s relatively straightforward.

You put on a VR headset, load up a video and you’re off to the races.

It’s a 360-degree immersive experience – as if you’re one of the actors doing the sex with the porn star (or porn stars) in the movie.

The video reacts to your movements as though you were actually there in the room.

Look up? See their face.

Look down? Boobs.

The technology is still a bit clunky, but it’s no doubt going to improve out of sight in the next few years.

Pornhub’s venture into the area is a massive move for the industry – bringing it from the Internet’s murky underground and into the mainstream.

“VR is still nascent tech,” BaDoinkVR CEO Todd Glider explains.

“Innovators and early adopters have caught the wave, but this deal ushers in the majority of consumers.”

The videos are optimized for both Android and iOS and playable through most virtual reality headsets.

We’re not sure if this is an exciting development for a fascinating piece of technology, or the regrettable end of all genuine human interaction, but either way, this is happening – and it’s going to be big.
